Female to female
DSub-9 data cables are typically used in RS232, RS422 and RS485 applications. The female to female version offered here is a rather rarely used cable for special purposes. Please check carefully if you really need a female/female version. DSub-9 female/female means: with 9 contact holes on both sides, i.e. no contact pins.
Please note: Not a NULL modem cable
The cable is not a NULL modem cable. However, we also have these special cables with a special assignment in our range, e.g. partsdata item no. CNULL-100 (2m), CNULL-101 (3m) and CNULL-102 (5m).
Assignment 1-to-1
The socket/socket cable offered here has 9 contact holes on both sides and is internally assigned 1:1, i.e. all contacts are connected without crossing (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9, shield-shield). Cables of type C3-09-xx can be combined with a gender changer of type DSub-9 male/male (partsdata item no. K-100).
Encapsulated quality
Partsdata supplies the cable exclusively in the quality shown with moulded plugs, i.e. not with mounted post caps. Cables with moulded plugs are significantly more robust and less sensitive.
